from 865 reviewsHaving loved Rodney's work for some time, looking at the new Avantasia album in my hands I knew I had to get the art. And it did not disappoint.
Excellent printing as well.

My brother has a copy of the original yendor somewhere.... he loves this, made his day. Thanks

This is an ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS picture from the Rodgers Matthews Studios stables. Worth every penny to be able to hang on the wall. It's not just another print, it's spectacular. If you haven't got one, get one while you still can.

These cards are so beautiful, lovely art, great souvenir of album artwork, and quality cards…thank you for making them available to buy!

This is one of my favourite artworks by Rodney, created for my favourite band, Magnum for their 1992 release 'Sleepwalking'. I would go so far as to say, I would (almost) put it up there with 'On a Storytellers Night' artwork, due to the sense of mystery and charm it evokes. It also happens to be in my top 5 Magnum albums so as with ‘On a Storytellers nIght’, it is the full package. Look anywhere in the image and the detail is incredible, in particular those relating to Magnum and their other albums, which is done so brilliantly. And of special note - the dual nature of America (as the band came to know) is characterised so well with the smiling/menacing Jack-in-the-box. What an album and what an artwork - Perfection.

The artwork is recognizable from the past with the colors and the imprisoned powerful view ! The Chief has resurrected to bless and save his humble crowd in the misty twilight with overview and admiration from the Dragon overlord himself !

Brillaintly packege arrived safe sound and loved the contents

Needless to say we love the book
Living in Germany it was amazing
that it was sent immediately and arrived
very fast. Thank you

I love Rodney's artwork, have done ever since I first discovered it in the late 90's/early 00's. Finally decided to invest in a proper print and couldn't be happier.
It is an excellent quality print, was dispatched rapidly, well packaged and with good communication throughout. Have subsequently had it professionally framed and it now hangs in pride of place in my home office where I can appreciate it most days.
If you like Rodney's artwork, then I'd say don't hesitate.

My son and I loved reading this together , we loved the illustrations throughout....would definitely recommend for any age!!! Fab book !!

I love anything to do with MAGNUM

Great print for my hubbies birthday. Will go on the wall with the Story Tellers Night poster that we have had for years. Will be ordering more!

This piece, Lament for the Weary is my second signed print from Rodney and is also fabulous! I've been a fan of the band, Seventh Angel, a Christian themed band and this is the perfect cover art for them. A really cool piece by the master, Rodney!

I recently received my limited edition giclee print of Elric of Melnibone- The Dragon Lord that Rodney personally signed for me and it is FANTASTIC! I've been a huge fan of Rodney's work since 1978 and this particular piece by him has always been a favorite and I'm so happy to finally own a limited edition print signed by Rodney after all these years. I am a professing believer in Jesus Christ as well, just as Rodney is and also received two other pieces that have Christian themes, Lament for the Weary and the Be Watchful poster. All three will be treasured pieces of art displayed in my studio and I thank Rodney and Sarah so very much for their kindness and communication and for granting my request for a personal inscription on each piece. The prints were all enclosed in a very heavy duty mailing tube and arrived in perfect condition. So I want to say again, thanks and may God bless you Rodney, and Sarah as well!

I've been a fan of Rodney Matthews since the 1980s when I discovered many of his Elric posters. I was always fond of his cover art for Magnum and Avantasia as well as some other metal bands over the years. I thought Lost on the Road to Eternity was a great Magnum album with even greater artwork so when I found this available at his shop I had to get it. Was not disappointed.
