A signed original pencil drawing on layout paper from 1982. Titled 'Elric at the End of Time Front Cover Preliminary'. This artwork preceded the final pencil drawing that would later be illustrated in full colour for the front cover of the short story Elric at the End of Time, a collaboration between Matthews and Michael Moorcock.
Authentication will be provided by an accompanying certificate of authenticity; "genuine original artwork" stamped, dated and hand-signed by Rodney Matthews.
Visible paper size measures 420 (h) x 297 (w) mm. Upon purchase, artwork will be mounted and backed increasing the size of the finished product.
A single visible crease (foldmark) is visible across the image. The condition is reflected in the price.
