DESCRIPTION

A fine art limited edition print of 'The Ether Stream' co-signed by Rick Wakeman and Rodney Matthews.

In 1991 Rick invited Rodney to one of his shows in North Wales.  He asked that he come armed with potential images for his upcoming release '2000 A.D. Into the Future'.  Meeting in the interval for a viewing, from the moment he saw it, Rick knew this image was the one!

Originally commissioned in 1986 as a poster design by Wizard & Genius, Zurich, Switzerland, the image depicts a ship of exodus. Snaking through the cosmos upon a ribbon of water, an entire civilisation have left behind their dying planet and set sail on a fantastic voyage of new beginnings.

Happy Memories

This is a very good quality print and is currently being professionally framed. In my younger days, I bought the poster which still hangs on my old bedroom wall at my parent's 200 miles away. Decided to treat myself to this during the 'new normal' as a pick-me-up. I'm delighted, the CD is a bonus and a great listen - thank you.

Lovely print, very good album...

Beautiful print that looks great framed. I rather like the cd that came with it too, with the result that I am spending lock down rapidly acquiring Rick's back catalogue. Seven albums so far, only 171 to go (according to amazon)...
