Phoenix in Obsidian: The Sea Chariot of Rowernarc original pencil drawing

A signed original pencil drawing on tracing paper from 1977.  Titled 'The Sea Chariot of Rowernarc'.  This artwork preceded the full colour artwork of the same name, inspired by Michael Moorcock's novel Phoenix in Obsidian.

Authentication will be provided by an accompanying certificate of authenticity; "genuine original artwork" stamped, dated and hand-signed by Rodney Matthews.

Visible paper size measures 215 (h) x 291 (w) mm.  Upon purchase, artwork will be mounted and backed increasing the size of the finished product.

Artist's gridlines are visible in red.  The condition is reflected in the price.
